Host-feature - available with RB?
« on: July 29, 2006, 09:36:36 AM »
Hello,

I'm wondering: With the original iriver firmware, there's a Browser feature allowing direct connections to another USB device like a camera or a USB memory stick.
My first question concerning this: Is this feature available with RB at all?
Second question: If it is, is there any way of "teaching new devices" to RB? The thing is, my memory stick is recognized (by the original FW), but my digital camera isn't.
Thank you very much!
Regards,

the reason your digital camera wouldn't work is probably 'cause it dosn't use microsofts default protocol as part of it's drivers' scheme. Nothing would help you for that. (is it a canon?).

Nope, it's a Kodak EasyShare.
