Devices keep getting banned

Hello! My devices keep getting banned from the forum. At first, I was able to log in to the forum from all of my devices, then my mobile phone got banned, and yesterday my home PC. I still can log in from my laptop (and I have a spare one ), but the ice is getting thinner. Help!

The last addition to the forum ban list was December 27th, so there's something else going on in your case.

It may be that you are behind a CGNAT setup and _some_ of the IPs your ISPs use are blocked..

The ban is on the IP+username combination; the actual forum account hasn't been flagged.

I can't find any information on what triggered the three banned IPs either, but it appears that while you registered your account and made most of your posts from IPs in one country, the IPs that got blocked are assigned to a VPN provider in another country, and that set of VPN is often flagged due to folks using it for all sorts of suspicious activity (widely reported online fwiw).

If I had to guess, I'd say the forum automatically banned those IPs for repeated login failure attempts, but I don't have server logs going back far enough to confirm one way or another.

Thank you for your reply. I’m using Windscribe VPN because many sites are blocked in Russia. I’m now writing from my laptop, where I almost never use a VPN. I would guess that this is caused by the VPN service or by the process of connecting to the VPN servers.

If I had to guess, I'd say the forum automatically banned those IPs.

Is there a way to reverse the ban? I'll stop using the VPN while posting here. I'm obviously not a spammer or something of sorts. Or soon all of my devices will be banned and I will not be able to participate.
