Using Rockbox on a separate partition with a MacPod

Hi, so is it possible to have Rockbox installed on a partition on an iPod? I really like the stock firmware, but have some FLACs that I wanna listen to, which the stock firmware can't do. The thing is, FAT32 syncing is very slow for me. Can somebody help me out? Thanks.

Not sure if anyone has done that, but the choice of file system should not have any impact on how fast you can sync to your player so something seems strange if you're seeing otherwise.

If you copy the files via the Apple OS it should be as quick as the iPod can do.
You could also convert the FLAC files to ALAC files using something like XLD.
