Goal: Make the most advanced modern-style Rockbox theme ever.
Features a clean, but sophisticated and considered design. It took lots of exploitation, "engineering",
and countless hours of work to get Rockbox to behave and look like this.

Finally a good font
The font used in this theme features a custom-made mix of Hiragino and San Francisco fonts.
The result is a clearly legible, well-anti-aliased look, with support for Japanese, Chinese and Unicode symbols.`

The hold switch has added functionality:
- Hold on the [While Playing Screen] to hide the song information and view artwork.
- Hold on the [Main Menu] to see a lock screen.
- Hold in the [Files] or [Database] menus to view what's Playing Next (avoid "hovering" over a list item that scrolls).

Install
FreshOS Requires Manual Installation
Due to the size of the theme (2mb), Rockbox's theme website doesn't want to accept it.
Therefore, Manual installation is required.

For some reason the menu screen part won't work for me.

Comes out looking like the attached screenshot.  As if the SBS file is ignored.

Yeah, just merged the folder.  No idea why it isn't working.  The context menu isn't working right either, though the WPS is. 

I always find it frustrating that neither the ipod nor the simulator gives any useful error messages, if there's any sort of problem they just 'don't work' with no more detailed information.

By the way, is the line in the SBS file
 %VB(0,0,176,132,-)
 correct?  Those numbers make me wonder if it's left over from a different resolution player, though I'm not sure what you are trying to do there, so maybe it's supposed to be that?

No idea whats wrong with yours then, i've reinstalled the theme and also tried it on another pod, worked fine.

And also actually dunno why thats set to that number, forgotten by now.. Strange though as everything seems to work

Apologies, although it still refuses to work at all for me on the simulator, it does work on the actual ipod (which is the important thing!).
  It seems as if it takes a second or two to fully load and appear as it should, but once it does it works fine (and looks great).

(In fact on the simulator it's as if it gets 'stuck' incompletely-loaded, hence on that the menu screen is missing half of what should be there.  The simulator does occasionally behave differently to the actual ipod, I've noticed)

just tried it using lastest dev build on Eros Q DAP playing screens seams to fall back to some very basic mode. no fancy layout of graphics. does it have to be a ipod?

Is there any way to reduce the size of the box that appears behind the song info on the wps? I like to see the album pic in all its glory. I tried messing around with the .wps file but I guess I'm too much of a bozo to get it right. If it isn't too much trouble, I'd really appreciate if you could point me towards the right direction so that I can either delete the box or make it smaller. If not, that's alright, totally understandable, thank you for your time!

When I set system language to Japanese, main screen of FreshOS is missing some fonts.
Other menus show correctly.
And with FreshOS-Light, everything works fine.
I downloaded the both versions of FreshOS from this page.

I'm using this on a Aigo Eros Q, how do I get it to display the album art during playback? It works fine on some other themes.

I'm having this same issue on the ErosQK.
