Samsung YP-Q2
« on: July 05, 2011, 08:35:31 PM »
Nothing much to say, port started and already at a good stage :)

Whats working...
  • Lcd
  • i2c bus
  • touchpad
  • fm radio
(it's a SI4703 connected over i2c)
[/list]
...and whats not
  • usb
  • adc
  • nand
  • audio

At the moment i'm fighting with the fm tuner that doesn't power on but meh, this is the project fun :)
I'm unsure if this should belong to the imx23 board arch as the gpio regs of the SMTP3750 are mapped in a silghtly different way...

Late night edit : The radio was using a separate i2c pinout but i got around that :) radio is working!

That's great news!   :)

I encourage you to document your progress (and details about the hardware, etc.) on a wiki page.

You should probably jump into our IRC channel during the day or evening in Europe and get caught up with development.  Theres a lot of work to be done and not many people working on it.

I'll be glad to help, even if my time isn't infinite, and my english bad :p

TheLemonMan is currently on vacations and I guess he comes back next week. You'll find him on the IRC.
I'm happy to see a new person interested in the port and I guess he will be happy too as he felt a bit alone until now^^

BTW, I'm also French so I would be glad to talk with you on IRC, msn or French forums (gmp3, tellementnomade) about the Q2 port  ;)
