Could some give me a tip regarding finding this bug?
Is there a way to provide feedback for android-related rockbox problems?
And if there is: Which logs are needed?

It is noticed on Cyanogenmod CM9 RC builds.  It seems to be related to the lock screen/display off/power button.  If one has the lock screen enabled and awakens the device with a power button push there is a quick flash of the lock screen then the screen goes dark otherwise the device remains dark and either a long press power button or battery removal is the recovery method.  I've tried turning the CRT animation off, animations off, etc. to no avail.  I have a couple of themes so it doesn't seem to be a theme-specific problem.  Might be best to go back to a Gingerbread build of Cyanogenmod -- it doesn't to have the problem.

Food for thought: I have never-hacked devices with *official*, non-rooted ICS 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 updates and have no problem with Rockbox on those devices.  CM's push now seems to be towards Jellybean so...

I'm going to give an early build of CM10 a try and see if the problem is still present.

That would be great.

Hey Rasher, thanks for maintaining this build bot, really appreciate it.

But I have a question, can we use the sncviewer or lrcplayer plugins on RaaA? If it's possible, I'd set up my development environment as soon as I can and build the plugin.

Thank you in advance.

It should work with wired remotes. Bluetooth remote headsets are a different matter, and I don't know how to support them (IIUC you need per-device code).

I tested Rasher's build from 27th July 2012 (9dd2eb4 - if I can read the tiny font) and the wired headset buttons weren't working on my SGS3 running CM10.

My bug doesn't appear with Cyanogenmod 7 (Android 2.3.7).

There is a major bug using CM9/CM10 in combination with rockbox on the Motorola Defy+!
It seems related to the lockscreen.

Furthermore rockbox doesn't work properly on the official Motorola Defy+ software.

Actually the problem seems to be Android 4.0.4 and above.  On two 4.0.4 devices (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 and Motorola RAZR Maxx) and the lockscreen set to "none", the problem appears after a few presses in succession of the power button to close the screen.

UPDATE: My mistake (I guess) the problem seems to have gone away on the Motorola.  Using my own 540x960 theme.

Running version 9d632bc-120809 on my LG Optimus 2X and my Nook Color; both run CM 7.2.0.

No issues at all, although the Nook Color sorely needs a CabbieV2 port for its 600x1024 screen. :)

Try CM9 or CM10 again.  I discovered that if I set to allow the volume up/down buttons to wake the device (Settings->Display) the WPS screen will return.  While the power button does not wake the device with Rockbox running, the volume buttons can.

Hi, I installed a Rasher build a few months ago on a Galaxy Note using Gingerbread and it worked pretty well other than bookmarks but a few weeks ago it stopped working. When I load it now, tapping on any options doesn't work and I can't use it. I have tried going back to earlier builds but that doesn't work. It's installed on the external SD card and I haven't upgraded to ICS or Jellybean. Maybe if I install it on the phone that might help.

Any ideas ? I'm not very technical but I had RB on an Iriver for years and it's brilliant.

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

Yes, you need to keep Rockbox on the internal storage of your Android device, and not on the external storage. AFAIK the widgets don't play nice when moved to external storage. Rockbox itself doesn't like being moved either.

Just installed 71778bd-121008 720x1280 on my Galaxy Nexus and it's working well so far. I'll give it a try on my GalaxyTab 7.2 asap.  Thanks for the all the great work!

I've been having a problem with Rockbox that is still present in the latest build (2012-10-12 13:12 CEST    be6da12-121012) on my LG p500 (320x480) running CM10 (JB 4.1.1). Seems whenever I build the database it causes Rockbox to crash when I try to play a file, either through the file viewer or the database viewer. When I delete all database related files in /sdcard/rockbox/, playback works again.

I get
Code: [Select]
*PANIC*
Stkov audio
pc:5133e6f0 sp:5142e7dc
      A:  5133f030
bt end

I'm trying to play the audio over bluetooth if that matters. Also my version of Android is anything but official so that may be a factor. It's a big pain, I'd like to have auto resume in my Podcast folder.

Even being at this early a stage, it's great to see Rockbox in Android! Good work.

I just bought a Google Nexus 7 32gb tablet. Would like to rockbox it. Which size would I download and where do I put it on the tablet to install it. I have found no option to accept 3rd party apps.
