IR receiver for Archos, or: a project years too late

(also posted on the mailing list, sorry folks who read both)

Recently I've built an infrared receiver for the big old Archos, see here:
http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/ArchosInfraredRemote
Works very well.

Anybody but me still using old Archos models, could this still be useful for
others?
Just in case so I made that article.
