Data abort message on Fuze V2
« on: September 14, 2010, 06:21:33 AM »
Bonjour,

For about two weeks I get an error message:

Data abort at 30028490
FSR 0x8
(domain0, fault 8)
address 0xEA000006

I'm not sure what is happening, it might be related to the theme I'm using Beobox since I do not get it when choosing other themes. How to be sure and report it properly. I use r28070 and have to revert to a version about two weeks old for Rockbox to work error free.

Regards,

Alain-Olivier

It's a bit of a long shot but please try the very latest current build r28073 (which should finish building in a few minutes) and let us know if this goes away

We skipped r28073 I guess, and some are still stuck on r28072, and others have moved on to r28074.

r28078 or later is what the testing should be done with.

I have just tested the r28085 on my Fuze V2, and unfortunately, the error is still occurring.

This seems to occur with me when using the Azure+ theme. Once it happens, I have to boot back into the OF and delete the .rockbox directory and reinstall.

This doesn't seem to occur with the default RB theme (cabbiev2).

I am having some similar problems with the current build I loaded yesterday (9/25) on Fuze Version 1 (not 2).  The release number was: r28159-100924.  There are a couple of themes I had problems with.

Beobox - happens when I try to navigate aware from the theme selection screen
300292F4
FSR 0x8
(domain 0, fault 8)
address 0xA00003E1

Azure+ - happens almost immediately, I do not have to leave the theme selection screen
[same]
address 0xD864E59F

Azure - happens when leaving the WPS
[same]
address 0xEA000006

I have tried a number of other themes that seemed to work fine: Air, Amarok, BlacknBlue_Glass, Boxamp, Cabbie2, Cabbie3, Cabbie3-Blue, Darkness and Ultima.

Thanks,

Doug Peterson
