Sansa c250 won't connect

After I installed Rockbox I am unable to sync my comp and my sansa....its still charges though. This is not what I expected to happen.

Please give more details or it's impossible for anyone to give a useful response.  What version of Rockbox are you using?  When are you inserting the cable?  What OS do you use?  Does the OF USB mode work properly?

I am having the same problem with my Sansa e260.  Everything works perfectly fine, just can't connect to my PC to put more music on it. 

Like the TC said, it will still charge.  I have and HP desktop with XP.  Rockbox version 3.2-0903232.  I connect my player to my pc while the player is turned off. 

What do you mean by OF USB mode? 
I have started up my player in the default Sansa mode by holding "left + power" and have tried both MSC and MTP mode.

I would really like to try and get this figured because RockBox seems extremely cool so far.  Plus then I'll be able to use my 4GB sdhc card!

Is there an sdhc card in the player (i.e. a card of more than 2GB)?

I have vista. My c250 is only 2gb. My USB cable works. I have the latest version of Rockbox.

I have the latest version of Rockbox.

You need to specify the version number (if you are using the latest release) or the build number (if you are using the current build).  Since USB support is enabled in the current build but not in the 3.2 release, this makes a big difference to helping resolve your problem.

Try removing any memory cards, shut unit off, start it again, when it boots into Rockbox then plug it into the USB cord.

Well, removing the SDHC card resolved the issue.  Thank you!  Guess I'll just have to get a card reader to put stuff on my SDHC card.

This is what happened before I got RockBox. If I connect the USB when the Sansa is On it connects and charges. When I connect the Sansa when its off the sansa turns on and charges but does not connect. Before I got rockbox I updated my firmware

Try removing any card, and loading today's Daily build.

I cant do anything....I have no card..... I cant even put any music....Let alone update....I got rockbox 3.2....My sansa is completly dead...And I...nor you guys know how to fix this....And You guys havent been able to give me any helpful information....I dont understand what I am doing wrong.....and you guys still havent pointed what i am doing wrong...and because of your stupid rockbox my sansa doesnt work anymore...at all...all it does is blink alot....I tried fixing it myself....by formatting it when it when back to Official version to see if could remove rockbox that way...but it didnt help...and it only made things worse.....in the end I have no sansa and you guys didnt provide any help

Assuming your format in the OF removed Rockbox you should be able to boot the sansa to its OF you could try holding the the left pad, If this is needed the Rockbox bootloader Is still in place.

Use the Rockbox Utilityhttp://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/RockboxUtility to remove it.

Now your sansa should boot, if it doesn't or you can't make the instructions above work, you will have to follow this http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaE200Unbrick guide to recover your player.

Your Sansa is not dead, and people have tried to help, both here and on IRC.  The trouble is that you refuse to answer specific direct questions, and to follow instructions.  For instance I was trying to help you on IRC the other day - I started giving you precise instructions on what to do, yet after the very first instruction you left and didn't come back.

We can only help you if you try to work with us, and given that you haven't at this point you only have yourself to blame.
