Probably not impossible, but no one has come forward to work on it, so its pretty unlikely.

IIRC, apple has been intentionally locking firmware on all of it's latest ipods to prevent pod modification, making it next to impossible to get rockbox to boot on them. So it's unlikely that there will ever be a rockbox release for anything newer than the 5.5 generation ipod.

I think the itune Software is crap.
Is there any other Software to fill the Classic ?
