I wrote something long, and then thought it's not even worth it.

I sincerely hope this is meant to be funny, because if you are serious, I pity you.

People work on what they want to work on.

Feel free to work on any of those, but most of us feel people "need" an audio player that functions well, that's why Rockbox was started. It wasn't started to be a game playing platform.

Your best bet? Buy a gameboy.

Why do you think that all people need this? It's nice to have but it isn't necessary on a DAP.

I find recent svn activity great -- it fixes the stuff I need for doing what my dap was intended for, namely playing music, not any fancy gaming whatevery stuff that's not goal of a dap.

Feel free to work on the stuff you consider important yourself. Otherwise, please shut up. It's annoying.

Hey don't pick on Columbo. He's brought us such gems as:

Quote
I think developers first must make low battery usage like in original OS, before any other daily changes, because nobody want using firmware with 2x less playback time.

Quote
can anybody give me file archive what i need to unzip to ipod drive to get ipodlinux? need linux.bin and other files (.root\). Dont redirect me to ipodlinux.org ,

Quote
Please fix it faster!

Quote
Dont remove my topics without noticing by PM!!!
Please improve 2x faster playback function to mpegplayer.

And my all time favorite (take that Llorean!)
Quote
why pussy forum moderator response as programmer? You are not programmer, go away. I just request improvement that can spend only 5 minutes...

What a guy!

have you thought maybe if we didnt have to waste time with stupid forum posts/members we would have more time to work on the actual code?

(btw, my last commit was in your honour colombo... too bad im to tired to remember to finish sentences :p )

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

You're right -- I completely overlooked that. So consequently I'm taking back what I said: keep up the good entertainment! :D
