Title: IPOD Video. what movie Formats dose mpegplayer plays?

Hi I wonder what movie formats mpegplayer plays? Im using Total Video Converter to  convert the movies, but when I try mpeg4 fils it dosn't work.

its called MPEGplayer so it plays mpeg movies

That's a nonsensical assertion. Clearly it plays mpeg movies, but which type of mpeg movie? If you're going to say something like that, at least make sure the statement you think is obvious is at least true.

It plays MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, but not MPEG-4, so what did you mean by "mpeg"?
