I was wondering if the Belkin tunestage - bluetooth transmitter works with rockbox. I'm using ipod photo - 4 G

Hey ruben, Is this (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_ID=202395)
what you're talking about?
I don't know too much about this as I have a line in jack for my ipod in the car so I couldn't tell you if those Belkin car adapters work.
But seeing that it plugs into the dock port on the ipod I'm a little doubtful. Is there a local store you can go to tryout this gadget?

If it is only using the line-out and power-out pins on the dock connector it is possible it will work just fine with Rockbox.
If it adds menus to the Apple Firmware (like some dock-connected FM transmitters) it will not work.

hi,
As I said I'm using the ipod photo. It using the audio out in conjuction with the little 4 pin male-female connector that's located right next to the audio out port. It doesn't use the dock-connector the 40-odd pin connector located at the bottom of the ipod.
I've tried (in rockbox) by simple connecting the transmitter, but it doesn't transmit. There are no menus to deal with - It's all hardware. It does work in the apple os, well.
My question is are there any setting to be made before I can get it running in rockbox ?

Can I have a link to the product? I would like to fill in the wiki page on it.
Please look at the wiki page http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/IpodAccessories, and either edit it yourself or tell me all the info I would need to fill in the table for this Belkin product.
Thanks!
