Title: Mock ad for rockbox
Post by: iPodFoo on October 25, 2006, 06:55:51 AM
Dont know if this is the right place to put this, if there is such a place!

Anyway, I got bored and decided to do a quick rockbox ad type thing, using the iChimp theme (see here if you dont know what iChimp means http://www.engadget.com/2006/05/22/sandisk-wants-you-to-say-idont-to-ipod/) and gave it a twist!  ;D

What do you think?

Its Myriad or Lucida Grand I think. Just picked a font an slapped it on really. Didnt play around with it much.

Glad you liked it Prem1er.

In my opinion there is no need to actually promote Rockbox.
People wanting all of the things Rockbox offers will find it.

@Davide-NYC - Probably. But it sure doesnt hurt does it? Unless it gets Apple (or even Sandisk) on our case and try some legal huffing and puffing.

I had trouble deciding what cool features to list that most people would search for as theres too many!

How about an ad for sum super brainiac coders? (no offence to all those here  ;) ) Like getting that guy that managed to hack the iTunes DRM! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6083110.stm
Obviously theyd all have to work for free!  ;D

@Stephen - Duly noted. My bad.  ::)
