Dear Comunity,
I have an Iriver H320 player and a 120 GB SSD. But the bootloader v5 does not work with the SSD.
There are two other bootloaders avaiable: v6 and 7pre. But I do not know if they work with the H320. Someone wrote on this forum, that 7pre is able to work with SSD and H120. But I don't know if it works with H320. Is there anyone, who know if thouse bootloaders work with H320? Are they able to connect with the SSD? Has anyone tested the combnation already? Im looking forward to your help.

No -- you can't use a H100 bootloader with a H300.

I am currently using the bootloader that Paul Hodges suggested for his upgrade to a 240GB Toshiba hard drive. I'm using it with a SSD of 128 GB and 256 GB and it works fine. So if you are stuck for anything else then its worth a try. Otherwise point the utility at one of the original firmware hex files.
As Paul says - "I have acquired a collection of updated H300 bootloaders that various people have published briefly; the one I used is r17607M-080522, but I now have no idea who made it (you can download it http://cassland.org/rockbox/H300%20r17607M-080522%20131kr.zip , at your own risk, etc, etc).

Sorry i have not answered for that long time.
My dad said, that he wanted to try first, but he had no time and at the first try the SSD was not recognized by the PC. So he tried a cardreader, but that one got hot. I will write the result when he got time.
