Title: Questions about Rockboxing Sansa Clip Plus 4gb.

I am considering Rockboxing my Sansa clip plus 4gb. I use it with a 32 gig card, and play FLAC only. I just wanted to know..

1. Does RB increase the Battery life as compared to the Original firmware?
2. Is it true that there is STILL a chance of the Clip Plus player getting bricked while changing the firmware?
3. I really like the sound quality of the original firmware, and I never use the EQ's on it. Does Rockboxing change the sound quality in any way?

1)  Yes, roughly double for flac.
2)  About the same as any firmware update on the device.
3)  Unless you turn on DSP effects there is no change.
