Hi,
I've problem with my Clip+ and database. It shows me interpret for every album (for example: I've 10 items of AC/DC in Interpret, because I have 10 albums of them). Tried to update today for actual build, but it didn't help. In original firmware is everthing ok.
Is this bug in Rockbox or some tag error? In PC (Foobar2000) everthing is OK.

Could you explain in more detail whats wrong?
-
I copy my 10 albums of AC/DC to my Clip. When I turn on Clip, it boots, reloads database and when I want to play that, I go to database -> Artist and it shows AC/DC, AC/DC.... for every album of them.

Solved
File explorer in windows did this problem when I try to copy all my mp3s. If I use Totalcmd, it's ok :)

Solved, but only 1/2 >:(
Sometimes it happend, so I must reinstall rockbox.
Can it maybe made by tagging in foobar2000?
-
This implies that your tags are not uniform. You should be able to use a tagging program to fix the metadata.

However "broken" your metadata is, there should not be a need to un/re-install Rockbox to "fix" it.
It sounds like a hearty case of filesystem corruption to me.

What if trying with albums that you're sure were not chewed away with some weird app? ;)

In windows explorer, vlc, mpc-hc, foobar2k and android default music player is everthing ok

Is that a question or did you mean to say "...everything is ok"?

everything is ok, sorry ;D
_____
seems using FAT32 solved (but maybe) - I will test
-
It'd be a good idea to provide a lot more details. Saying "using FAT32 solved" is a little bit odd because Rockbox ONLY runs on FAT32 formatted players!
-
I have FAT before (because it's 2GB version) and it runs too... But there was problem with database (this thread). Then I formated player to FAT32 and it runs fine.
