Title: I need some help with my fuze..

Well hello all!

I am having some annoying probs with rockbox on my fuze. For one, i frequently get the updating database screen and it scans over 3999 files (even tough I only have about 300 songs)
Sometimes when I select a song to play, i get the error 'no .rockbox directory'  or something of that sort.

The  picutureflow cover takes forever to rebuild the cache.

Also. when I open up my root, it displays some weird file names (wich I dont remember being there)

Looks to me like you have a corrupted file system. Builds r23977 to r24053 were susceptible to this due to the implementation of a now-reverted 4 bit widebus mode. I recommend you run CheckDisk on the player's main drive, then format the player using the original firmware. Afterward, reload your content (all of which will have been deleted during the reformatting) and install a recent build of Rockbox (something post-r24053).
