Ever since I upgraded to 3.4, when I turn on the E280 and then connect the USB cable under Vista 32 bit, I see it trying to install drivers. Then I get an error message followed by a corrupted drivers message.
Never had these problems in the previous RB version. Has then been discussed here already - if so, is there a fix/workaround, or should I go back to the prev RB version?

I am seeing a similar problem on one of my e200 v1 devices. It seems to be caused by the USB HID support that was added in version 3.4
The current builds have a setting to disable the USB HID support. You can change the setting by going to Settings->General Settings->System->USB HID. This setting is not in version 3.4, so you will need to update to a current/daily build.
After turning this setting off, my e200 v1 now connects properly.

Thanks - changed HID to NO. Next time it connected Vista once again did a "Installing Drivers". It was successful and no error message. The time after that three dialogs appeared with "dshf43erd" in the window title. Once said: "Runtime Error '70' Permission Denied". The other said the same thing. Then a third dialog with window title "Error" said "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program". Is this coming from Rockbox? Happens right after I connect. I have the daily build from yesterday.
