Title: REQUEST: AGC (Automatic Gain Control) recording on Sandisk Sansa c240 ?
Post by: dm9315 on June 11, 2009, 02:05:12 AM
Is there any way to add AGC on Sandisk Sansa c240?

The issue is that when I am recording on a very dynamic volumes levels, and require the recording to adjust the gain accordingly.

Any tips to add AGC would be much appreciated!

Dave.

what are the recording gain steps you can set on the Sansa?
You can always build a version with AGC yourself by enabling HAVE_AGC in the confic_xxx.h file

From -34.5 dB to +24 dB
in steps of 1.5 dB

that's what I feared. The 1.5dB steps may be a bit too big, but you can try.

Can you build your own version?
