Post by: gychang on April 22, 2009, 06:05:11 PM
what do I have to do to get the music files names to show properly?

Does the Korean language show both English/Korean flac and mp3 files properly?

thanks,

Are you referring to the display of file names in the browser or display in the WPS? For both cases you need a font that supports korean characters (try unifont), and for mp3 files you might need to have the proper codepage selected depending on the encoding used in the id3 tags. This is, however, not related to the language setting at all.

I would like the names of the files (mp3, flac) to show up in the native language, in my case English or Korean on the ipod nano display.  What do I need to do exactly?, Korean letters do not show up properly for now.

I will look into "unifont".

This doesn't really answer bluebrother's question. Are you talking about in the filebrowser, or are you talking about in the While Playing Screen ?

Like to have it show up on the While Playing Screen. (didn't realize what WPS was)
