Title: how do i reboot my ipod?

ok ive tried the hold then pressing the center button. ive got rockbox installed on my 5th gen 80gb ipod. it says i need to reboot before i can play music or something. i tried searching in google and looking in the manual cant find anything. also can you tell me how do i turn off my ipod? is there a list of controls someone can refer me to?

Be aware that when it says "reboot", it means "power off, and then turn back on". Do not do the "Hard reset" procedure you may find Apple's help docs mentioning.
