Title: The Simulator and touch screen players
Post by: riksweeney on March 31, 2009, 08:48:23 AM
Hi,

I was wondering how the simulator works with touch screen players. I've compiled the Cowon D2 simulator and can sort of get it to respond using the mouse, but it's mostly hit and miss. Does the simulator work with touch screen targets or is it just a partial implementation?

touchscreen support isnt quite working properly yet... on the sim, bassically split the display into a 3x3 grid, each section is a button

You can also use the Touchscreen Mode setting (in General > System) to switch to a "real" touchscreen interface where you use the mouse to click on items instead of your finger. But be aware this only really works in menus/lists at the moment...
