Title: one video file/better sound quality with Rockbox on Sansa e260?
Post by: karnor on February 09, 2009, 03:22:49 PM
Sorry if I sound like a dork, but before I rockboxed my mp3, I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.

I have a Sansa e260, v1.  I have been told that if I rockbox it, the video files can be added as one file instead of being clipped into smaller files.  Also, my understanding is that it improves the quality of the audio portion, plus, the video can be restarted where it left off without having to fast forward through the video clips to get back to where I left off.

Is this true?

Check the PluginMpegplayer (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PluginMpegplayer) page for plenty of info.

Yes, resume works and large file sizes are no problem.
