- iPod video 5G
I downloaded it, and it told me to replace the original bmp at: apps/bitmaps/native
where do I find this directory?
Thanks!

AFAIK you have to download the sources, replace the bitmap, then compile your own build.
-
Actually, if we're talking about the same program, it allows replacement of the opening splashscreen without having to compile (or am I thinking another such program). But you do need to specify and link to a copy of the original image being replaced.
If I recall correctly, there are links to those images (at least for some of the players) in the threads discussing the program, over at Misticriver.net. Here's a link; an iPod Video is listed on the 2nd page of threads.

It's this link... http://svn.rockbox.org/viewvc.cgi/trunk/apps/bitmaps/native/rockboxlogo.320x98x16.bmp?view=log&pathrev=12987
but that appears to be down right now...

The Misticriver thread itself also contains a number of the images for use.

St00pid: SVN is up once again and the link is working

Alright, thanks a ton. I'm still pretty confused though... I'm trying to make my Rockbox look like this: http://pijulius.blogspot.com/2006/06/rockbox-bootloader-with-fullscreenlogo.html
How can I do that?
-
Whatever you do - don't use that bootloader - your iPod won't load a current version of Rockbox if you do.
-
Either use Logoswapper (see the instructinos in the Misticriver link above) or change the splashscreen file and then compile--unless you're already compiling, it will be easier to do the former.
