Title: rockbox on ipod hung

5g ipod (video) ... installed rockbox yesterday was working fine until now .... all of a sudden when i tried to access the files via rockbox on the ipod it froze and now even if i connect it to the pc nothing happens ... its frozen

So reset it.

Hold switch to on, back off again. Then hold Menu+Select for a good 30 seconds or so.

And PLEASE use the search function - I've lost count of the times that it's just *me* that's written this response - let alone all the other people who have.

its not responding even to reset ;) hence i posted it :)

If it's not responding to the reset, you need to try it again, being careful not to wiggle your fingers, and making ABSOLUTELY sure to do the hold thing, and to press the buttons for 30 seconds.

The reset will work, you may need to try it several times though.
