Hi, I have been using rockbox for a while with my 80GB ipod video and never had problems with my flac files. The playback was flawless yet 3 days ago, I installed the new version of the rockbox and the flac files started to skip like every 5 minutes and also browsing thru the menus was not like it used to be; it was slow somehow. I have tried newer versions of rockbox and even uninstalled the bootloader and installed it again yet no luck. Any input is welcomed. Thank you...

When was the last time you updated Rockbox, before the update you did 3 days ago?
-
it was end of the May if it helps...

I have the same issue with flac files since I updated again about one week. strange enoug, I also have skipping problems with certain mp3 files. The issue is not solved by updating to the newest build.
The when track skipping occurs is quite different, but *always* at the same position in a certain song...

BTW: I just realized that this is my first post to this fourm. I use rockbox since the first experimental build for my iHP-140 and I absolutely love it. Actually the ability to rockbox a DAP has become one of the most important criteria for a new player (if my precius baby should day someday). This problem I'm having now is the first issue since the stable days. and that is really a good sign. So thumbs up for all the developers, THANK YOU!! :)

hi... i have also the same problems. just installed today rockbox on my ipod photo 60gb... when playing FLAC after about 1-2min the song freezes.
i tried to change the buffer times, but doesn't really affect the behavior.

Hi .. i just installed a older version: 14625-070906 this one works fine. maybe this helps to find the problem?

I'm running build r15381 on a Sansa e250 and I noticed that when playing FLAC files, the usefl buffer runs out and the FLAC playback stops. Changing track will cause the buffers to reload, usually till the buffers are full. Sometimes though, they only load a small bit and playback freezes after less then a minute of playback.

same problem here, flac playback stops reproduceble at the same point of a song.
Mostly between 15 and 90 seconds after the song starts. Ogg and mp3 works fine.
Player is a sansa e250 with version : r15370-071030

Same problem do I have: Playback of some flac-files stops reproduceable after a minute or two. Always at the same point on the same files.
Version: r15324 on sansa e260

Anyone having this problem with a build r15390 or later?
This should be on the tracker really, so I'll lock this thread later.
