im kinda new with this and before instaling rockbox i'd need answer to theese questions.
if i use rockbox will i still be able to sync with itunes?
when i install rockbox is there a way to come back to the original ipod menu and browser?
does the music videos and pictures still play the same way??

Yes. Read the section of the Manual regarding the Rockbox Database.

Yes. Refer to Section 3.1.3 of the Manual.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "play the same way," but Rockbox does not support the same video format as the iPod's original firmware, so no.
