So I was exploring the various settings and I wanted to see what the linear peak meter looked like to so I set it and while the peak meter itself didn't look different the actual meter was barely registering.
So I set it back and now the meter is just a solid line no matter how loud the song is.
I loaded the current build from today and it's still showing. This is the case no matter what wps I use.
Can someone help me correct this? I really like the peak meter and I can't believe I've "broken" it somehow.
Thanks.

Now it's gone.
Anyone?
Is my only option to reformat the drive and reload rockbox?

So the peak meter is missing for recording as well.
It records just fine... perfectly in fact... it's just that there are no level meters where the level meters should be...
I'd really like to not have to reload all 8 Gb of music I have on here to fix this...

Hi,
i was able to reproduce this behaviour. The problem is that both, minimum and maximum range get set to -0dB when swiching back to logarithmic scale.
In order to have the default peakmeterbehaviour again set "Settings=>General Settings=>Display=>Peak Meter=>Minimum Of Range" to -60dB.

Thanks...
I tried messing with these settings as well with no results...
I'll try and do what you just described and see if it works.
:)
EDIT: That worked!! Thanks!!
