Title: sansa fuze v2 repair question, different,
Post by: frostknight on July 28, 2022, 12:55:39 AM
which batteries are compatible with sansa fuze v2?

Does the date matter of when it was created?

And are there any good ones available?

Let me know...

Btw,  I would say more, but I need to sleep, will be back in the future...

Let me know if you have any info though!

:)

Did you by any chance google 'sanza fuze battery replacement'?

It is quite a popular subject with videos, teardowns and other pages.

I think searching for 8JJH8F15 should get a lot of results still.

Fuze v2 is the one I  am using, if that  helps...

Anywho, let me know, will do a search, but not sure even then...

I found this,

https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-SANDISK-Sansa-8JJH8F15-Battery/dp/B07XG1FXH4/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=sansa+fuse+battery+replacement&qid=1659049160&s=hpc&sr=1-1

Actually, does this work on all sansa fuze v2 devices? and is it any good?

And as a final note, if it works with  v1 or v2, does it work with both and also does it work for most fuze v1s and fuze v2s?

Not really sure is why I ask...

will be watching to see if you reply.

From what I can tell the Fuze v1 and v2 have the same physical size so I would assume that a replacement battery will fit in both. I only have one Fuze myself so I cannot compare.

The battery you link seems to have the right properties (3.7V, 550mAh, the correct dimensions). But without having tried that exact battery, it is impossible to 100% say it will work.

Good luck.

Pretty sure speachy said the fuze was very hard to replace the battery in without breaking the ribbon cable for the wheel

you might pop in to IRC and ask him for some pointers before you start
