Title: Wheel Sensitivity iPod 5G
Post by: docvalentine on June 26, 2021, 05:28:42 PM
I am looking for a way to adjust the clickwheel sensitivity on an iPod 5G. Searching for how to do it, it looks like there has been at least one patch over the years that added that functionality. Was this feature ever incorporated into the main distro?

This feature request https://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/10386 looks like it was never completed.

I'm having trouble using Rockbox because my fat thumb often scrolls the selection down one notch when pressing the button. I'd like to add a deadzone or something to prevent this if possible.

I'm still struggling with this. I use my iPod very frequently and the misclicks that this is causing are still driving me crazy.

Would anyone have any idea if there's a file I can edit to adjust the thresshold for wheel moves? I'd like maybe a 45-degree deadzone before movement starts.
