So I bought an old Sansa Fuse Plus on eBay and discovered it's a Rev. 2 edition.
It has Firmware 2.37.01 and using the RB Util, it fails to patch the Sansa bootloader.
I tried manually reflashing the FW, but to no avail.
I did not see Sansa Fuze Plus Rev. 2 in the Device Status page, so I'm assuming Rev. 2 is NOT RB compliant...??? :(
Anyone know what the issue might be?
Thanks!

2.37.01 is a normal fuze plus.

Any ideas on how to load RB bootloader, since the util fails with:
"Downloading bootloader file
Download finished (cache used).
[ERR] Original firmware unknown, please try another version. Tested Clipv1 versions are: 1.01.17, 1.01.18, 1.01.20, 1.01.29, 1.01.30, 1.01.32, 1.01.35
Could not load C:/Users/GO/Documents/Music/Sansa/Fuze+/firmware.sb"
The firmware.sb file is the fuzeplus02.38.06 FW...
It's almost like the RB Util. only wants the Rev. 1 FW file, which I tried as well...

I was able to upgrade to 02.38.06A manually now, but I still get the same error when trying to patch the Sansa bootloader....

As the message says, you've configured Rockbox Utility for a Clip v1, but the firmware isn't. And as has been said, you have a different player.
How did you configure Rockbox Utility? What is the USB ID of the player? You can find the attached devices in Help / System Info.

For some reason RB Util. kept thinking it was a Clip+, even though I chose Fuse+, hence it was looking for the Clip+ sb file to patch.
Once I got it to recognize it's a Fuse+, it was able to update the bootloader and load RB ;D
Now I just need a new battery soldered on...
Thanks for the help!
