Title: slightly OT: any media players which will accept a full size SD card?
Post by: jkn on November 30, 2020, 12:36:23 PM
I apologise, this is not a 100% Rockbox question, although I would like it to be part of the answer...

Are there any Audio players around at the moment that accept *full size* SD cards? I would be happy to buy a second-hand model, especially if it was of decent quality and able to be rockboxed...

Background to this is that I have a large number of full size SD cards and it would be quite useful to archive some music, say 4 albums onto a 2GB SD card, so that I could use them directly in a player

Thanks for any thoughts

The Cowon D2 has a SD card slot. It is available second hand from time to time. Using iFlash adapters you could also use iPods.

Creative ZEN X-Fi uses a full size SD card,  Rockbox works well on it.
