Hi,
I need to record my live music gig.
Do you think is a good idea to buy the archos jukebox recorder with archos pre-amped mic to make my recording session?
Wich is the quality of the live recording with JB?
Please help me.
Excuse my bad english.

The JB Recorder would probably be OK for your use. I have a Recorder V2 and have been very pleased with the quality of live recordings. The microphone will probably do a good job picking up lead guitar, vocals, and snare, hi-hat, and cymbals. The bass and bass drum, and the floor toms may need a little boost on playback, though. The JB Recorder, when loaded with the FREE ROCKbox software can do this for you.

Hi:
I use my Recoder 20 to record my band and it works really well. The microphone quality and placement are the most important issues. Make sure the mic has a 30hz to 18Khz ferquency response and has a pre-amp and you'll be happy with the results.
