Title: "Cant load from partition, invalid file format"
Post by: elmorekevin on December 05, 2008, 12:27:11 AM
I get this message after I connect the Sansa e260R to the usb cord, to try to move new files to it.  I have followed the instructions for the special R version (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaE200RInstallation), and can enter Rockbox just fine when I don't have the sansa plugged into the computer, but it gives me the error message:

"Rockbox Boot Loader
Version 4.0
Sandisk Sansa e200,
Partition 0,
 Partition 1,
 loading original firmware,
Trying firmware partition,
 BL size ...,
can't load from partition,
 invalid file format,
trying /System/0F.m4i,
can't load 0F.m4i,
file not found",
then repeats the last three lines with 0F.bin

Is that supposed to be a 0 or a O?  I made it a zero...What did I miss here?  Does none of this work on the e260R?

I also just checked and the firmware version is 1.0.2.31

It's an O (Oh, not Zero). OF -> Original Firmware (not Zero Firmware ;) )
