Title: Speak track names without ".mp3" on every one
Post by: MP3glee on November 21, 2004, 08:18:43 AM
Jens, or somebody...

Could somebody propose a change to the "Voicebox" script which provides an option to not speak the filetype of tracks (.mp3) ?

Time and disk space are wasted by speaking the type of track along with its name.

This was described in another thread in this forum:

Thanks.  Works great.

I've been an Archos user for over four years now.  Excellent (when loaded with ROCKbox).

The fix I posted in that thread will disable the speaking of extensions permanently. In the long run I'll add that to the settings/options file so it can be turned on or off according to the users wishes. Seems to me there are circumstances where you *do* want to know the file type - but I May Be Wrong (TM).
