Title: removing encryption problem
Post by: daveprince37 on February 10, 2012, 12:55:33 PM
hi there...

I'm having a problem removing the encryption - I'm following the wiki paragraph to the word... using the cradle etc and everything appears fine until I try to play the .mp3 files as there is still somekind of encrpytion on there... - so I am left with 37gb of files I can not play at all... if anyone can help me that would be great... I've also manage to buy a 2nd hand f40 gigabeat but I've even tried to transfer the files and again remove the encryption but to no avail - ( again using the cradle) any help would be greatly received...

If your MP3 files have have the .SAT extension appended to them, then read this page on how to unencrypt your files:
