Title: System Error After Improper Eject

Hey just installed the rock box and rebooted my f20 and all i get is the bootsplash.bmp displayed nothin loads no buttons work i can only turn it on and off by turning the battery off........ i followed the directions rite from the home page and  downloaded the one at the bottom which i thought was the newest so if anyone can help that'd be awesome thanks...

2) Please tell us exactly what is on your gigabeat's file system now.

Yes, 1 and 2 are important.  It sounds like all you downloaded was the bootloader at the bottom of the Gigabeat Port page.  That's just one of 3 zip files that you'll need.  You also need the actual Firmware and the Fonts package.  Both of those are linked on the same page as the bootloader.

Of course that was pure speculation.  As godeater said:

wat happened was i forgot the rockbox.gigabeat file when extracting it....i fixed it tho i just re loaded the original by holding the up volume and put it where it was suppose to be

Ok, im  having another problem now, by mistake i didn't correctly disconnect the gigabeat from my computer i didnt eject the device. Now im gettin a system error, C00F6FB4. I then tried the surgery to reload the GBSYSTEM folder however none of my computers can find the the gigabeat when it is plugged in with or without the HDD connected. Not even in explorer. Help Please

Try closing the gigabeat, Plug it in the computer then open it up

It should detect it like that
