Post by: siwy on February 26, 2008, 03:54:56 PM
Which version of bootloader on m5 is officialy supported? First or second? Because RBUtil still uses first version and I wnat to now is this a bug or not.

I told you it's not a bug. It downloads the officially provided version from the download server.

This is not a question about how to install Rockbox, please familiarize yourself with the guidelines.

I understand.
But what I'm trying to do is to figure out who decides which version is official which is not, and why v1 is official, not why RBUtil uses official version. It's quite understable.

v1 is official because we haven't uploaded v2 to the download server yet.

v2 is now uploaded. It was a non-critical bug fix.
