Title: How to identify a TMS320 variant?
Post by: LEKO on June 14, 2006, 08:33:22 PM
I've just opened/scanned the PCB of a RD2825A, and the TMS320 chips is marked with this :

TMS320 980
DA250GHH3I
EF-38A3Y5W
2P

And in a small circle at the bottom right corner, I can read :
12D
038

But, there is more than 100 variant of the TMS320, how can I identify mine?

I can't find any reference to TMS320 "DA250" on the TI web site, I'm a bit confused... Does anyone worked on those TI DSP and would help me to start my port project?

I searched for a while and couldn't find anything substantial on that chip either.
