Title: Is there a Georgian font?
Post by: whatchamacallit on August 18, 2006, 05:22:04 AM
Is there a Georgian font? (Georgian is not Cyrillic) My wife is Georgian, so I'd like to install a font she can use for texts.
If not, is there any way a non-expert could convert a desktop-use font for use with the H320?

I just tried HelvR12 with a georgian text and it woked fine. I'm sure there are other fonts with georgian glyps, just try them.

As I posted in your separate post on this topic, did you look yourself?  Also, you may want to check the fony library I referred you to in your other posting.

Hello Mikerman,

yes, I did have a look at the library. I couldn't find a suitable font there. I will now try markun's proposition. I was just thinking that before searching all of the internet for fonts, it might be quicker to ask in a forum because if anyone has already found one, there'd be no real point in "reinventing the wheel".
Greetings,
