Title: firmware patch is .exe: can I use wine?
Post by: jjf on September 24, 2006, 11:05:19 PM
Preliminary reading of the Rockbox-for-H320 manual uncovers this question:

The instructions for patching the firmware involve downloading and running a .exe file.  Do I need Windows for this, or can I safely do it with wine in Linux (or some other way?).

Normally I'd just try it and see, but flashing firmware always gives me the heebie-jeebies.

You can use Wine.
