Hi everybody!
I have problem with rockbox using in my Ipod Classic 6G after replacing CF card to microSD with adapter.
Bootloader gives error "Ata error -2147483621".
Default Ipod firmware works fine.
I have already tried to reformat SD with instructions https://www.iflash.xyz/prepare-sdxc-exfat-for-use-with-the-ipod/ but without success.

The driver couldn't initialize the disk. If the device is working ok in the Apple firmware, than probably this means you'd need to add support to the driver for your adapter so that it knows how to initialize it.

How I can do it?

Hi... No one help me?

i mean edit the driver source code to work with your new hardware. I don't think anyone is going to be able to help you do that since it will depend on the specifics of how the device you've bought works. Alternatively, you could use the Apple firmware, or buy a device that already works with rockbox so that you don't have to add support.

Hi... No one help me?
You have to install EMCore loader, not Rockbox bootloader. It solves the issue.

I have had this error twice now... and every time it was because I dropped the ipod and the SD Card popped out of socket.
Simply opening it up and popping it back in solves the trick every time.

Everything ok, I managed to make rockbox work using mcore! Thank you very much for helping!
I have another question. How do I start the apple firmware? I've already tried the / hold key combinations but the mcore menu always starts.
Solutions?

You can't. Emcore method doesn't allow dual-boot.
