Title: Timestretch on Sansa e280
Post by: musther on January 27, 2010, 03:42:01 AM
I've just tried for the first time to use the timestretch function - first enabling it and then rebooting the player.

According to the manual, timestretch is then used via the pitch screen.  According specifically to the pitch section of this page:
http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-ipodvideo/rockbox-buildch4.html
the play button should cycle through all available pich adjustment modes (semitone / percent), which I presume includes timestretch.

The problem is, when on the pitch screen, the play button simply returns me to the now-playing screen.  I can adjust the tempo and pitch using the default method, but cannot change from percent to semitone or timestretch mode.

Any other Sansa e2* users tried to use timestretch?  Is it simply that I don't know how to access it - I've tried all buttons?

Cheers

While I haven't used timestretch myself, my guess is that it would help if you actually looked at the e200 manual and not the ipodvideo manual...  ;)

Ha!  You know, that's a really good suggestion.  When I first started using rockbox, I used the Sansa manual of course, but when I had trouble with timestretch I simply used google to find an answer, and the ipod video manual must have popped up first.

Thanks anyway, problem sorted!
