Is png display of artwork supported?  Do you have any plans?

PNG artwork is not supported and probably not going to be supported due to high CPU/memory requirements.

Thank you for your reply.  As far as I read the source code, it seems that the ape format is supported, but ...

I found that album artwork png support is planned here. But now there is a conflict. Is this explicitly abandoned?
