Title: How to patch my player?

I'm new with Rockbox. Mostly when I download a patch and opened it I only see a text' So how can I make it work.

Patching requires compiling, you have to compile your own build of Rockbox. They really are just text files, they're changes to the source code.

If you'd like to go into the world of compiling, investigate the "Simple Guide to Compiling."

Note that while it can take some time to set up a compiling environment and get the compiling steps down, once down, it is easy to do, and for many, enjoyable.
