Title: Ipod Classic stuck on "scanning disk" in boot
Post by: danmn33 on August 19, 2012, 10:42:42 AM
when I boot rockbox on my ipod classic it gets stuck on scanning disk for a minute or so and then just resets. I think my hold button might be broken because it sometimes sticks. I could solve this problem if I could disable the hold button to scan the disk during boot. I doubt I can fix it because there's no way I can access my ipod on the computer at this point, but I can run UMS boot but that's it. Thanks

i dont see a question here. are you looking to install original firmware or reinstall rockbox?

if 'scanning disk' takes too long, you can disable 'directory cache' in general settings.
