Title: Mac script writer needed!
Post by: bobdotexe on June 21, 2010, 07:39:45 PM
I need someone who has a mac to make a mac script for
"RockBox automatic upgrade"
http://sourceforge.net/projects/autorock/
the Linux version should work on a mac, if run in the terminal, assuming they have 7z and Wget;
but if someone can think of a better mac version;
feel free to do it your way;

...any way I would like "RockBox automatic upgrade" to work on all major os's;
and I don't have a mac (made after 1990) so..... could someone help me out?

a quick and easy way to update to the latest build.

....mainly I was too lazy to run rockbox utility, every time I wanted to get the latest build;
if I have to leave somewhere I just plug in my player, prepare to leave, pick up my player and go...

This still doesn't answer the question why not work on supporting this in Rockbox Utility. Adding command line parameters to automate things is on the list since years, but so far nobody did the work.

This can be done with a little AppleScript in OS X.
