Title: iPod Video 5th gen 60gb won't shut down
Post by: doomcup on October 05, 2019, 06:07:13 PM
Hi! I recently got a refurbished 5th gen ipod off ebay. I installed the development version of rockbox on it (rev 01cccaf), and I found afterwards that it will not shut down. Whether I let it try to shut off on its own, or long press play, it will shut down, and then come right back up.

I did some googling. I don't think it's the LT4066 acting up since it will happily charge via USB. I also tried rebooting into the original firmware, but I can't seem to manage. I'm wondering whether the hold switch doesn't work.

Is there anything else I can try?

Does the hold switch function when Rockbox is running?
