Title: H140: Gapless Playback Not Working
Post by: TrappyWappy on February 16, 2008, 05:05:37 PM
I have been using Rockbox on my H140 since 2005 and it has been working wonderfully for me. I usually update builds every few weeks and have never had a gapless playback problem until I updated in January of this year. I went back to the 1224 build and there are no problems present. I decided to format the HD and reflash with the new bootloader (I was using v5). So I am not on v6, and decided to do some testing. I put on the latest version of rockbox  and before updating the DB i decided to test playback. There was no gap between songs! So i said, hey it's fixed! I updated the db (I load to RAM), turned power on and off and starting listening. Gaps. I reproduced this every time I put a new version and didn't load the db. I use Vorbis. I am sticking to 1224, but I do like that new cabbie theme!

Regards and thanks,
Avi

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Thanks,

Why don't you try filing a proper bug report, documenting what happens and how to reproduce it? These are support forums, bug reports don't belong here, just general questions about how to get things working.
